Alana De La Garza was born in 1976 to the Mexican-American father and Irish-American mother. Her role has been famous actress on TV. De La Garza, a Mexican American father and an Irish American mother were born in Columbus Ohio on June 26, 1976. In the next few years, she moved to Texas to pursue an athletic therapy profession in the University of Texas. De La Garza didn't last very long in Texas then moved in Orlando Florida where she experienced a variety of acting roles that included local independent films as well as world-wide commercials. Despite the fact that she only had minor parts, the actress rapidly realized the passion she had for acting. In 2001, she moved into New York where her first role was on All My Children's morning soap-opera as Rosa Santos. Through the first half of the decade, she appeared in small parts for JAG Vegas and Two and a Half Men. She landed her major role in the year 2004, on the underrated dramatic The Mountain. De La Garza starred as Maria Serrano alongside top TV actors like Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley, Anson Mount and Mitch Pileggi. In 2006 she was also cast as A.D.A. in Law & Order. Connie Rubirosa. She appeared in 85 episodes. Her character on the Law & Order: LA spinoff was a short-lived. De La Garza's character received numerous nominations, including Best Supporting Actress for Television at the Imagen Foundation Awards. She was also awarded ALMA Award nods. She was awarded the Impact Award in 2008 for her exceptional performance in a dramatic television series from National Hispanic Media Coalition. In the next few days, De La Garza was cast for CSI Miami in a recurring role. She was Marisol Deko, as well as the wife of David Caruso's character Horatio. As the character Dr. Lena Solis, she was last seen on the NBC's dark and tense drama Do No Harm. After two short episodes it was cancelled.
